Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

Part2

Whether studying or in general life, planning is an imperative skill. Here, we must strictly set the hours for studying, and should promote regularity in doing so. Don’t put off your studies to the last moment (just before the test), because in that moment you will be feeling stress and pressure, and both factors will probe disturbing for your learning; that’s the high price of procrastination. During the exam, it’s important to forget about panic and stress. And if you are planning for your thesis, you may find this post useful. Other planning tip I frequently give is that, when you are assigned a homework, try to solve it as quickly as possible, several days before the required date, but don’t try to complete it perfectly and don’t submit it immediately. I always recommend doing homework early, but deliver it at the last possible day.

“The importance of being prompt”

Being prompt is being an example , being a leader. It is being an example out there and show people what being a good citizen is all about. A lot of people wonder why society is so bad, why people can ever go out in walks at night , why their communities is so bad. And it all starts at being punctual. If you said you were going to be some where at a certain time you must. Being on time at the time said is being late ,and if youre late youre forgotten. You have to be there before whatever  time you said you were going to be. Some times being early gets you rewards maybe you had a doctors assignment and you go and the person that had an appoiment has gotten canceled and you get to go in before and you get better service, you also get to leave early.
If you tell someone that you will meet them at a certain time, you have essentially made them a promise. If you say you’ll be there at 10:00am and you go at 10:05 you are still late and there fore you have broken a promise and that person will not trust you any more , maybe some time they decide to do the same thing as well to you. Loosing some one trust is very very sad. Knowing that one of your closes friend can not be there for you and make you wait it’s a waste of time is same and friendship drift apart.  besides loosing a friendship you can also loose a job just for being late to a job interview. If you are “on time” it does not show any interest but if you show up maybe at least 20 minutes earlier people will see how comited you thruly are. Choosing the right brings priviledges.

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

Part 10

v They prefer tasks with some degree of difficulty and novelty, which stimulate their learning skills.
v They don’t apply the simple criteria of success fail to their learning. Remember, they are focused into their learning process
v They know how to handle groups
v Finally, they work with passion.
v Other chief habit is that of asking questions. We have to establish hypothesis and set concrete, realistic goals. After reading any text we have to ask several different questions related to its content, in order to verify if we have completely understood the text. It’s also important to try to related such text and others areas of our knowledge. Again, linking ideas and concept is a habit of highly successful students. So, link.

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

Part 2

·       Everyone wants to be successful in life, but where are the keys to success? Do we have to go out and search for those keys, or do we have those potentials already within ourselves? When we begin to examine life, we can see that it is divided into two aspects—life within and life without; internal life and external life—and we can see that these aspects are of equal importance. Even if we have renounced the world, gone far away from civilization, and live in the wilderness doing nothing but meditation, we cannot ignore external life. We still have to see that we eat, do our ablutions, and perform our practices on time. So life in the external world is as important as life as in the internal world.
